Good Food & Wine Show Exhibition Stands
The Good Food & Wine Show is Australia's largest food and drink show for the public, with more than 115,000 visitors a year across its cities. In 2027 it runs in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane. Brij & Co built the Crossray stand at the 2026 Melbourne show: a 6m x 6m outdoor kitchen with a custom aluminium pergola and a working rangehood.

2027 dates and venues
| City | Dates | Venue |
|---|---|---|
| Melbourne | 28 to 30 May 2027 | MCEC |
| Sydney | 25 to 27 June 2027 | ICC Sydney |
| Perth | 20 to 22 August 2027 | Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre |
| Brisbane | 22 to 24 October 2027 | BCEC |
The show also runs Christmas editions: Sydney from 20 to 22 November 2026 and Melbourne from 4 to 6 December 2026. We build in all four cities, from our Sydney workshop and our production facilities in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.

What we learned building for Crossray
Crossray makes infrared barbecues. Their brief was to show the product in a setting a home owner could picture in their own backyard, not on a bare plinth. We built a custom aluminium pergola with 3D branding visible from several directions, a functional rangehood with a timber batten feature suspended inside it, and large backlit graphics of a landscaped garden to give the stand depth.
The frame was modular, with reusable structural parts, so it can be freighted and rebuilt at the next show. For a brand that runs the circuit of Good Food & Wine cities, that is where most of the value is. See the Crossray project.
Designing for a consumer crowd
Queues and flow
Popular tastings draw queues that block the aisle and your neighbours. We set tasting bars back from the aisle line and leave room for a queue inside the stand.
Selling on the spot
Visitors buy on the day. A point-of-sale counter with card terminals, bagging space and stock storage behind it keeps sales moving.
Food safety and cleaning
Wipe-clean surfaces, hand-wash access and bins built into the joinery make a three-day show easier on your team.
One stand, four cities
A modular stand that packs into a known freight volume is cheaper to move between cities than a one-off build. We plan the pack-down from the start.
Good Food Show stands in every city
The Good Food and Wine Show, often just called the Good Food Show, tours the major exhibition centres: MCEC in Melbourne, ICC Sydney, PCEC in Perth and BCEC in Brisbane. Each venue has its own loading docks, power and rules, and each show has a short build window before the public arrives.
Because we have production facilities in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth as well as our Sydney workshop, a touring stand can be stored and rebuilt by local crews rather than trucked across the country with a single team. That cuts freight and keeps the same stand looking the same in every city.
Good Food and Wine Show stand costs
Typical stand ranges from our exhibition stand cost guide. Floor space is booked from the organiser for each city.
| Stand | Typical range | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Hire stand, 3m x 3m | $1,500 to $3,000 per event | Small producers doing one city |
| Pop-up system, 3m x 3m | $2,500 to $5,000 | Producers doing several cities on a budget |
| Custom 3m x 6m | $10,000 to $25,000 | Tasting bar, retail counter and storage |
| Custom 6m x 6m | From about $25,000 | Feature builds like the Crossray outdoor kitchen |
For a touring stand, ask us to price storage and rebuild in each city. Over four shows that often costs less than four separate hire stands.
Expo stand ideas for food and wine brands
A bar people can lean on
A long tasting bar with a footrest and a shelf for glasses invites people to stay for a second taste and a conversation.
Show bags and bundles
Visitors carry bags all day. Bundled show specials, ready to go at the counter, sell faster than single items.
Height for visibility
Consumer halls are crowded. A raised fascia, a pergola or a hanging sign tells people where you are over the heads of the crowd.
Wash-up and waste
Glasses, plates and food waste pile up. A hidden wash-up area and built-in bins keep the stand clean through a busy weekend.

I could not recommend Brij and Co enough! We've worked with a few stand builders over the years, but Neil and the team are the best at what they do.
The stand was beautifully executed, effective, and delivered at a very reasonable price.
They perfectly brought our vision for the stand to life. Since upgrading from more basic setups, we’ve been noticeably busier at shows, with customers often lining up around the stand to engage with our products. As a start-up surrounded by much larger, more established brands, that kind of impact is incredibly valuable.
The team is also warm, friendly, and super helpful during the stressful bump-in process, which is also a huge plus.
We had such a great experience working with Brij & CO for our stand at the Sydney Hair Festival. The booth was beautifully executed, and the quality and attention to detail really stood out. Everyone loved it!!
Neil was always very responsive and easy to deal with, and Anna was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the process. They also created oversized props for us, which turned out amazing and made a big impact at the event.
Looking forward to next year's expo!
Brij&Co have built our (Tilley Soaps) Gift Fair stands for several years now and always do a fantastic job. Professional, reliable, and great attention to detail. Thanks to Neil and the team, we highly recommended.
We had such a beautiful experience with Brij & Co. They could bring my vision to life. Organising those type of events can be stressful but they made the experience very pleasant and easy. I will definitely be using their services again BKT (Beauty Keeps Transforming) in our next hair and beauty expo. Thank you so much Anna and Neil.
Brijnco is hands down the best fair stand manufacturer we've worked with. We were impressed by their innovative designs and commitment to delivering exactly what we needed for our event. The team at Brijnco is not only creative but also highly responsive. They listened to all our requirements and ensured everything was perfect. If you need a stand that stands out, Brijnco is your go-to choice!
