Exhibition & Event Display Fabrication
Brij & Co fabricates exhibition stands and event display structures in our own workshops. We do not outsource fabrication to third parties. Every structure, fixture, cabinet and display element that bears our name is produced by our own fabrication team under our own quality controls.
In-house fabrication is not just an operational choice. It is the foundation of quality consistency, timeline reliability and the ability to solve problems quickly when something needs to change during production.
Structural Framework Fabrication
Aluminium extrusion cutting, drilling and assembly for modular stand frameworks, hanging systems, ceiling structures and freestanding display frames. Steel fabrication for structural support columns, heavy-duty display platforms, double-decker upper floor structures and any application requiring high load-bearing capacity.
Our team fabricates frames that meet the structural requirements of every major Australian exhibition venue, including those requiring engineer-certified structural sign-off. Double decker exhibition stands.
Timber and Joinery Fabrication
Custom joinery for reception counters, product display cases, cabinetry, wall panels, shelving systems and feature architectural elements. Finished in paint, veneer, laminate, high-pressure laminate or specialty coatings.
Our joinery fabrication operates to furniture-quality standards. Exhibition elements that visitors touch, lean on and inspect closely must be finished to a level that withstands that scrutiny. We build to that level.
Acrylic and Specialty Material Fabrication
Acrylic cutting, routing, bending and bonding for display cases, backlit panels, illuminated letters, product display units and decorative elements. Polycarbonate and other specialty sheet materials processed for weatherproof outdoor applications.
Large-Format Graphics and Print Production
Printed fabric tension panels, rigid substrate graphics, vinyl applications, backlit film and large-format digital prints all produced in-house. Artwork is processed to exhibition-scale print specifications and output is quality-checked before installation. Custom exhibition signage and graphics.
Quality Assurance: Pre-Assembly Before Delivery
Before any stand leaves our workshop for delivery to a venue, we pre-assemble the complete structure in our workshop. This pre-assembly check verifies that every component fits as designed, all connections work correctly, all lighting and power is functional, and the completed structure matches the approved design.
Issues identified in pre-assembly are resolved in our controlled workshop environment, not at the venue during a timed bump-in window. This is one of the most important quality controls in our process.
More Fabrication Capabilities
- LED Lighting Integration
LED lighting systems integrated into stand structures and display elements. Spotlights, cove lighting, backlit panels, product illumination, strip lighting and programmable colour-changing systems. All lighting is wired and tested in-house before delivery.
- Retail Fixture Fabrication
Custom retail display fixtures, gondola units, counter displays, wall systems and shopfitting elements produced for retail environments. Multi-unit production for chain retail roll-outs. Product display stands. Retail design and build.
Turnaround Times
Simple fabrication tasks (graphic panels, basic counter units, standard shelving): 1-2 weeks.
Mid-complexity fabrication (custom counters with integrated features, multi-panel wall systems): 2-4 weeks.
Complex fabrication (large custom island stand structures, double-decker frames, specialty retail fixtures): 4-8 weeks from final approved drawings.
Total project timeline includes design approval, fabrication, pre-assembly, graphics production, testing and pre-delivery inspection. Brij & Co provides detailed production schedules at project inception.

Frequently Asked Questions
What materials does Brij & Co use for exhibition stand fabrication?
Aluminium extrusion, steel, MDF, structural timber, acrylic, polycarbonate, printed fabric, PVC, high-pressure laminate, and specialty finishes including two-pack paint, veneer and metallic laminates. Material selection is driven by the application, durability requirements and budget.
Does Brij & Co do custom fabrication for one-off projects?
Yes. Custom one-off fabrication for product launches, brand activations, retail installations and bespoke display requirements is a normal part of our work.
How do you ensure fabrication quality?
In-house production under direct supervision, a defined quality checklist at each fabrication stage, and a mandatory pre-assembly check before delivery. Every project is signed off by a senior team member before leaving our workshop.
Can you fabricate structures that require structural engineering certification?
Yes. For stands and structures requiring engineering sign-off, we work with registered structural engineers to prepare and certify documentation. This includes all double-decker stands and structures exceeding standard venue height limits.
What is the maximum size of structure you can fabricate?
We have fabricated exhibition structures up to 12×12 metres in footprint and over 8 metres in height. Workshop capacity determines the maximum size we can pre-assemble before delivery. Contact us with your specific requirements.
Can I visit your workshop to see fabrication in progress?
Yes. Client visits to our workshop are welcome by appointment. Seeing fabrication in progress gives our clients confidence in our process and often generates useful insights for ongoing project decisions. Arrange a workshop visit.
