Beauty Expo Australia is the trade show for the professional beauty industry in New South Wales, held at ICC Sydney. The 2027 show runs on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August, 9am to 5pm, and is open to trade visitors only. Brij & Co designs and builds beauty stands in our Sydney workshop, and has built stands for skincare and cosmetics brands including SKIN1004, Beauty Creations and Beauty Keeps Transforming.
Who you are designing for
Visitors need an ABN to register, so the people walking the aisles are salon owners, clinic operators, therapists, educators and retail buyers. They come to compare brands and treatments, sit in on the conference sessions and place opening orders. The show covers skincare, K-beauty, aesthetics, makeup, grooming and wellness, with a conference program of more than 60 sessions.
That shapes the stand. A professional buyer wants to see the product applied, ask about margins and training, and leave with an order form or an appointment. A stand that only looks good in photos misses the point.
What makes a beauty stand work
Light that flatters skin and product. Beauty stands live or die on lighting. We use high-CRI LED strip in shelving and mirror surrounds so foundation shades and packaging colours read true, and so demonstrations look the same in person as they do on camera.
Somewhere to demonstrate. A treatment bay or makeup station with a chair, a mirror, power for devices and a sink or water supply if the products need it. Partial screening gives the client some privacy without hiding the demo from the aisle.
A retail counter that holds stock. Many exhibitors sell show specials. Lockable storage under the counter keeps stock off the floor, and a clean counter top leaves room for payment terminals and order forms.
A backdrop that people photograph. Beauty visitors post from the floor. A branded feature wall or a neon logo gives them a reason to.

9 to 18m²
Shell scheme or a compact custom stand with a lit product wall, one demo station and a counter. Our shell scheme upgrades suit first-time exhibitors.
18 to 36m²
A custom stand with two or three demo stations, a retail counter and a feature wall. The SKIN1004 stand we built at ICC Sydney was 36m².
36m² and up
Island stands with treatment rooms, storage and meeting space, and room for a stage for brand demonstrations.
Beauty Expo Sydney at ICC Sydney
Beauty Expo Sydney, officially Beauty Expo Australia, is held at ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour over a weekend. Because it runs Saturday and Sunday, move-in is usually on the days before, and many exhibitors are salon and clinic owners who cannot leave their business for a full build day. We take the build off your hands: the stand arrives pre-assembled from our Ingleburn workshop, and your team only needs to come in to stock shelves and test devices.
ICC Sydney's permit form lists a 5 metre height limit in Halls 1 to 4 and 4 metres in the Gallery. A tall lit logo tower or a hanging sign is a common way to be found in a busy beauty hall, so we design those within the limit and lodge them with the plans.

Expo booth design ideas for beauty brands
Make it photographable
A neon or 3D lit logo, a mirror wall or a floral installation gives visitors a reason to take a photo and tag you. Place it where the photo includes your name.
Colour matched to the brand
Beauty brands live on colour. We print graphics and paint joinery to your brand references, and check samples under show lighting before production.
Testers within reach
Open, well-lit tester shelving at hand height with mirrors and tissues invites people to try. Keep stock below so testers do not run out.
Education corner
Professional visitors want training and protocols. A small seated area with a screen suits short education sessions between demos.
