The Design Solution
The Uzcosmos stand architecture was conceived as a refined balance between futuristic geometry and the warmth of traditional Uzbek design. Soft, rounded forms, atmospheric lighting, and culturally inspired details created a space that felt premium, authentic, and welcoming. Despite the complexities of working with an international client and adapting the vision to locally sourced materials and construction methods, DisplayWise delivered the project seamlessly through strong end-to-end project management and close client collaboration.
Without compromising craftsmanship or cultural authenticity, the design and production teams delivered a standout interpretation of the brief, featuring:
- Outer Contour & Roof Feature Clean, minimalist forms highlighted by a cantilevered timber canopy, roller-painted and framed with perimeter LED strips. A night-sky fascia graphic enhanced the futuristic, “spaceship” effect.
- Columns & Beams Natural timber structural elements inspired by the historic architecture of Bukhara and Khiva, reinforcing a connection to traditional Uzbek craftsmanship.
- Ceiling & Lighting A matte, dark night-sky ceiling evoking boundless space, integrated with branch-like LED structures that mirrored constellations and provided a soft ambient glow.
- Arches & Bases Symmetrical arches with integrated lighting and traditional baked-brick bases inspired by Samarkand’s Timurid-era architecture.
- Arched Niches Referencing Bukhara madrasahs, these niches displayed ceramics, wood carvings, and applied arts, enhanced with recessed uplighting, gentle internal illumination, and hollow-lit perimeter graphics.
- Media Integration Large-format next-generation LED panels (2500mm × 1500mm) showcased infographics and videos, seamlessly blending science, technology, and cultural storytelling.
- Reception Counter A bespoke 3D-printed matt white polypaint shroud with black acrylic logos and open shelving, creating a strong and welcoming focal point for visitors.
The Result
The custom Uzcosmos exhibition stand surpassed expectations, creating a visually compelling environment that seamlessly fused advanced technology with Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage. More than a striking design, the stand became a strategic platform for UZCOSMOS to showcase its vision and ambition — contributing to the successful bid to host the International Astronautical Congress in Uzbekistan.

I could not recommend Brij and Co enough! We've worked with a few stand builders over the years, but Neil and the team are the best at what they do.
The stand was beautifully executed, effective, and delivered at a very reasonable price.
